The teeny-tiny restaurant offers a taste of France right off the main drag in Decatur. Start with escargots, French onion soup or an assortment of French cheeses (served with a crispy baguette, of course), move on to duck confit, pork tenderloin or sausage with sauerkraut, then finish with homemade chocolate mousse and an espresso. This non-descript restaurant has the best South Indian menu in the city, and has a large Indian following. Based on rice and vegetables, the menu offers bhel puri, a sweet and sour puffed rice and tomato concoction; Vada, a deep-fried lentil doughnut; or masala dosai, a huge crepe stuffed with spiced potatoes and vegetables. Back before most people even knew what tapas were, this small restaurant was offering close to 70 appetizer-sized portions of terrific Lebanese dishes including roasted cauliflower, cilantro fish, falafel balls and lots of vegetarian selections.
